What is tolerance? It is the consequence of humanity. We are all formed of frailty and error; let us pardon reciprocally each other’s folly – that is the first law of nature.

Prometheus or The Drunkard

But now the drug eats his cirrhotic liver like an eagle. He is afflicted with all the symptoms an alcoholic may have: the rhinophyma (growths on the nose), varicose veins of the esophagus, and as a result of multiple falls in the intoxication a lot of rib fractures of different ages and an epidural hematoma, thus a bleeding in the brain .
